New Lanark

Wee Row Hostel is set in the 200-year-old conservation village of New Lanark. Surrounded by woodland, this riverside village has been beautifully restored and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The visitor centre offers a host of events throughout the summer months and you can also visit the waterfall of Corra Linn, the Scottish Wildlife Visitor Centre or relive the past with the Annie McLeod Experience.

Set within an historic building, only one hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow, the hostel offers good budget accommodation which is popular for families, school parties and groups. All rooms are en-suite and there is a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, dining area and small lounge for guests to use.

The falls of Clyde walk is excellent for all ages and if you are ready for your first Munro the Tinto Hill is just 15 minutes drive south. Thanks to the biggest cairn in Scotland at the top, it is the highest peak in Southern Scotland - just don’t forget to take a stone up with you to add to the cairn!
