Available from mid-July to the beginning of September, our Edinburgh Haddington Place Youth Hostel is a modern accommodation complex close to Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel. Great if you're looking for a place to stay during Edinburgh's summer festivals including the very popular Fringe.

Contemporary and spacious, Edinburgh Haddington Place comprises of 143 en-suite single rooms, featuring large, comfortable beds and plenty of storage.

Perfectly located to connect you to everything Edinburgh has to offer; with Train and Bus Stations a 10 minute walk from the youth hostel. You can also get the tram from Edinburgh Airport into town and we are 5 minutes downhill from the last stop.

Edinburgh Haddington Place has everything you need and more; high speed WiFI, laundry, bicycle storage and an on-site team who are available 24 hours a day to assist with your enquiries and ensure you have a great stay in our capital city.

Please note there are no self-catering facilities available at Edinburgh Haddington Place Youth Hostel, we offer room accommodation only. Breakfast, dinner and light snacks are available at Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel, a two minute walk from Edinburgh Haddington Place. Check out the facilities tab below for more information.

Youth hostel opening hours: 24 hours (For security reasons, the door locks at midnight. Please advise in advance if you are to arrive to check in after 23.00. Checked in guests can access the building after this time using their swipe card).

A £10.00 holding deposit will be required on arrival for the bedroom key. This will be credited back on departure following the return of the key.

Edinburgh Haddington Place is within a 2 minute walk of our Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel, where you can get your morning off to the perfect start with a Continental or Full Scottish breakfast, available from 07:30 to 10:00. Breakfast can be booked on arrival at Edinburgh Haddington Place. There is also our fully licensed Haddington Place Café which is located within Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel and is open to our guests and non-residents from 10:00 till 21:00.
