Edinburgh Central is a 5 star youth hostel located in the heart of Scotland's capital, offering a range of shared accommodation and private rooms, all en-suite. Premium rooms are also available, with TV and coffee making facilities. Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel is an ideal base for individuals, groups or families looking to discover the country's capital city.
Our licensed cafe, Haddington Place, offers tea, coffee and cake as well as a range of snacks and meals throughout the day. There is also a dining room where we serve continental and cooked breakfasts, lunches and dinners for both individuals and groups. Our small self-catering kitchen and dining area downstairs is available to individuals and groups of less than 20.
Perfectly located in the city centre, just 10 minutes on foot from Waverley Railway Station and the bus station, Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel is within walking distance of Edinburgh's main attractions, including Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, the National Museum of Scotland, Dynamic Earth and the Scottish Parliament. Our accommodation is a short walk from Edinburgh Playhouse and the Omni Centre. Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel is a great place to stay if you're planning a trip to the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe Festival, but remember to book early!

Hairdryers, iron & ironing board and cards & games are available for free to use with a deposit. Shower gel, soaps and toiletries available to purchase from reception. Towels are available for hire (available free to private booked rooms).
