Tobermory Youth Hostel is located in the centre of town on the main street. It is one of the many brightly painted buildings in Tobermory's harbour (the red-pink one). Tobermory Youth Hostel is surrounded by shops, restaurants, art galleries and the busy harbour with boats coming in and out all day. It is also famous as the location for the popular BBC children's show Balamory. Tobermory Youth Hostel is an ideal location for families, sea food enthusiasts, marine wildlife watchers and is also a good base for exploring other areas of the island, whether on bike or on foot.
Tobermory Youth Hostel offers both excellent value budget and group accommodation. The youth hostel has hot showers, laundry and drying facilities, cycle shed, internet access, a well-equipped self-catering kitchen and a common room with toys, books and flat screen TV and DVD player. Films which used the Isle of Mull as their location are also available from reception for those rainy days.
In addition to the seafront location the youth hostel has a small enclosed garden at the back with a picnic table, ideal for morning coffee or lunch.
