Please note: certain facilities may not be available during your stay due to a refurbishment to our current self-catering facilities. In response to guest feedback, we will be transforming the ground floor with a completely new modern, open-plan reception, kitchen and dining area.
Private rooms and shared accommodation are not affected by the works and are still fully available. In addition, the team at Portree will be on hand to recommend several cafe and restaurant alternatives, all within walking distance of the youth hostel.
The expected dates of the project are 8th February to 21st March 2016 (but this may be subject to modification without prior notice).
Portree youth hostel is located in the heart of Portree, the capital of Skye, and one of the most famous destinations in Scotland. The bus station, town square, galleries, shops and restaurants are only a couple of minutes' away.
The youth hostel offers modern accommodation in an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts or those wishing to explore the beautiful Isle of Skye. With a mix of private en-suite rooms and dormitory accommodation there's something to suit both groups and independent travellers.
The youth hostel also offers a small dining and lounge area with limited self-catering facilities and there are plenty of local restaurant only a few minutes away.
