We are looking for motivated individuals with a variety of skills to become involved in the governance of SYHA from June 2017.

As a Scottish Charity and not for profit organisation generating an annual turnover in excess of £8m, all surpluses generated are ploughed back into the sustainability and development of SYHA Hostelling Scotland.

SYHA is seeking a variety of life skills and professional experience for the task of governing the organisation, overseeing its work and ensuring that it provides good quality services and fulfils its charitable objectives.

We are inviting nominations from individuals who will provide dynamic and strategic governance to continue our development and ensure a commitment to our mission, purpose and values. We welcome nominations from all backgrounds, but in particular we are seeking individuals with a strong background in:

• Education and Youth Sector
• Hospitality
• Sales and Marketing
• 3rd Sector and Community Organisations

These posts are voluntary; however, reasonable expenses will be paid in accordance with our expense policy.
