Bring your best dressed little ghosts and ghouls to Inverness' "Forest of Frights" on 29 October 18:30 anf 30 October 17:30. The show stretches for over 1300 metres around two islands in the middle of the River Ness. Expect surprises and screams...and keep an eye out for the wall of hands! Free entry.

Edinburgh's grim and gruesome past makes the Scottish Capital the obvious choice for your Halloween hijinks. From famous, Burke and Hare to the haunted vaults beneath the city streets; there's no shortage of frightenly good treats in store. Mercat Tours offer guided walks above and below ground. Join Stirling Ghost Walk's David Kinnaird at The Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum as he tells the tale of a Callander woman who caused controversy when she claimed to have channelled the spirit of a drowned seaman days before the sinking of HMS Barham was announced. Helen Duncan became the last person to be tried for witchcraft in the UK under the Witchcraft Act of 1735. Event takes place on 31 October 18:00 - 19:00, tickets £6.00.
