You may remember that last year, to celebrate the launch of our new look Exclusively yours...RentaHostel service, we ran a competition to win a youth hostel all to yourself (well, with friends or family) for a day or two.

And our competition winner, Jean from Glasgow, did just that when she was joined by walking group friends at Oban Youth Hostel recently. Here's what Jean had to say about her stay...

"We were so lucky with the weather and walked every day including going across to Kerrera and walking the Gylan Castle Circuit and the southern route on this lovely island. The other walks we completed were Pulpit Hill & Gallanach, Ganavan Sands to Dunstaffnage and Beinn Lora.

"I also need to compliment the staff at the youth hostel who were so friendly and helpful, setting up the rooms as needed and generally looking after us.

"It was great having the exclusive use of the Lodge and the group  have already spoken about this for future trips."
