Saddle Mountain Hostel is a small and friendly 5-star VisitScotland accredited hostel sleeping up to 22 people. Centrally located in the Great Glen at Invergarry, it’s close to the Great Glen Way, Munros and Loch Ness and is a great base for exploring the Scottish Highlands. The hostel was shortlisted for Hostel of the Year in The Great Outdoors Magazine Awards in 2019 and 2020.
The hostel has 5 bedrooms. You can choose from shared dormitory rooms or private rooms. We welcome solo travellers, families, and small and large groups. You can book a bed, a room or the whole hostel.
Our quality facilities include a large self-catering kitchen, dining room, lounge, drying room and laundry. There’s also free Wi-Fi, parking, secure bike storage and our Espresso Hub.

Saddle Mountain Hostel is located between Fort William and Inverness, close to Loch Ness.
There are a number of superb walks for every ability around Invergarry, from an easy stroll along the Great Glen Way, to exploring the surrounding forest scenery or tackling Ben Tee, the local Corbett.
For the more adventurous, outdoor activities include mountain biking, white water rafting and rock climbing.
Local attractions include the 17th century Invergarry Castle on the shores of Loch Oich - now a ruin, but once the seat of the chief of the MacDonnells of Glengarry
