Bikepacking is fast becoming one of the most popular ways to get deep into the countryside with your bike. Experience the adventure and freedom of taking to two wheels as you explore the wilderness of the Cairngorms National Park on this guided bikepacking trip.

This trip is suitable for beginners through to more advanced riders - you just need to be able to ride for up to six hours for each of the two days. Perfect if you've been looking to get out there and try bikepacking but would prefer the safety, security (and company!) of a guided trip.

In partnership with nineonesix-guiding and based at Scottish youth hostels, your experienced bike guide will show you the skills to ride on multi-day adventures by mountain bike. You will ride on a variety of trails, from forest trails to superb single track and some short sections on minor roads.

During the break you will learn from your guide how to look after your bike, equipment and yourself on multi-day routes. There will also be an opportunity to learn about simple trail side repairs, navigation and emergency procedures.

There'll be no more than four participants on each trip, giving you the opportunity to meet like-minded biking enthusiasts and to receive detailed support and guidance from our mountain bike guide.
