Conference room GlasgowOur properties at Loch Lomond, Glasgow and Carbisdale Castle  are more traditional, steeped in history, abundant in art and architecture and are situated in some of the most sought-after locations in the country. From the West End of Glasgow to the grandeur of our Highland Castle, you can have first class meeting and conference facilities in a spectacular occasion.

We recognise that flexibility is important as not all organisations have the same needs. That is why we offer an array of room layouts for different events. Choose from boardroom, theatre style or smaller rooms for meetings or break-out groups.

* Facilities vary between hostels so please let our Hostel Managers know in advance of your requirements. Details for each hostel can be found in the download at the bottom of the page.

A great way of reinforcing trust, team building, improving negotiating and problem solving skills amongst colleagues and are proven confidence boosters. So next time you are planning your AGM or brainstorming session why not take your team on a field trip?

From canoeing on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond to scaling the great heights of the Cairngorm mountains, we can offer great activities in some of the most fantastic locations in Scotland that are sure to inspire delegates. Over the years we have built up relationships with some of Scotland’s biggest and best activity providers including C n Do, Boots n Paddles, Can U experience and Go Ape who will have you enjoying activities you never even dreamt of trying, for people of all ages and abilities.

Our staff can offer advice on all types of activities and locations and can create a bespoke package specifically for your group.

Catering
As well as excellent conference and meeting facilities, we can provide great value catering, from tea and coffee to a sit-down 3-course meal. Our chefs can create a varied and exciting menu with dishes freshly prepared on-site using the finest produce. Some of the hostels even boast their own in-house restaurants and cafes, or it may be possible to provide catering in the conference/meeting room.

Event concepts
If you are looking for a unique building in a stunning location with plenty of space and character for a special event or function, then our Hostels are ideal. In the past we have hosted all manner of events including murder mysteries, Mexican theme nights, Scottish dinners & Ceilidhs, Highland Games, photo shoots and parties galore! There is also the added bonus of overnight accommodation for your guests, should you require it.

Charity use of hostels
As our prices tend to be lower than those of hotels and similar conference/training venues, they are particularly attractive to charities and small organisations with limited budgets.
