Edinburgh Metro
Edinburgh is heading right into another busy season and SYHA,
Hostelling Scotland are opening Edinburgh Metro
Hostel again this year. As in previous years, we
take over the halls of residence from Edinburgh University during
July and August. For the first time this year though, guests are
able to book entire apartments. All apartments comprise of 4, 5 or
6 single rooms with bathrooms and well equipped self catering
kitchens. Guests can now book a private apartment and enjoy all the
privacy and comfort right in the heart of the festival city. In
addition, we are now able to offer two twin rooms. Both rooms are
light and very spacious. They are located in a flat on the top
floor. All rooms in that flat share two bathrooms and a well
equipped self catering kitchen. Since all other rooms in Metro are
single rooms only, this is the first time that 2 people can share a

Edinburgh Metro Hostel is only minutes
away from the Royal Mile, the Grassmarket and many of the festival
venues. Venues crop up in the most unlikely places all around town
and street performances hardly ever stop. The nightlife starts
right on our door step. If you have not been to Edinburgh yet -
there is no better time than Edinburgh in August. If you have been
to Edinburgh before - Edinburgh in August is a different experience
all together. But mind, it keeps you on your toes...
