West Higland Way Diversion
For any of our hostellers walking, or planning to
walk, The West Highland Way this week please note that you may
find slight diversions in place at Killearn.
Following a leak in a water main on the line of the West
Highland Way, a temporary diversion has been out in place, starting
at Station Road, in order that the necessary repairs can be
undertaken.
Please note that the original intention was for a shorter route
using the fields alongside the Way for the diversion but the recent
weather, particularly the rain, has resulted in the adoption of a
slightly longer, but very much drier, alternative.
It is anticipated that the repair should take only a few days
and that the diversion can be lifted by the weekend (12th/13th
September 2009).

the main website.
Remember our hostels which are on-route and can
provide you with a low-cost, convenient and comfortable place to
get dry and well-rested!
