The Adventure Show

BBC Adventure Show Rowardennan LodgeBack in July, Rowardennan Youth Hostel provided a stunning backdrop to an outside cooking feature that will form part of The Adventure Show's next airing on BBC2 Scotland.

We have had a recent communication from the production company indicating that it has been 'provisionally scheduled' for Sunday 4th October at 7pm on BBC2 Scotland. Viewers south of the border should be able to catch this programme on Sky, however we do not have the exact channel information at present - we'll try and get that for you shortly.

SYHA guests, staff and visitors had a great time as part of the audience and even got to sample some of the delicious seafood chowder that presenter Dougie Vipond and award-winning, soon-to-be celebrity chef, Grant McNicol served up using just a simple camping stove! Pictured above is SYHA CEO Keith Legge giving the guys a hand - although he did have to admit he didn't like eating fish much! We can't wait to tune in and see how the finished programme looks.

Keep checking back here for details and we'll do our best to keep you updated. Alternatively feel free to call the SYHA Marketing Department on 01786 891305 for any further information.
