Introduction to Winter Skills - 2010
Come and join us on a fun introduction to the skills required
for safe walking adventures on the winter hills and mountains of
Scotland.
Guided by a qualified winter mountain leader, you will practice
movement on snow slopes, uses of an ice axe, performing
self-arrests and step cutting. You will also talk about other
elements such as weather, mountain hazards, avalanche and snow
slope analysis and much more...
