Edinburgh Metro Now Open!!
Hostelling Scotland’s Edinburgh Metro Youth Hostel is now open for
the summer offering excellent, affordable accommodation in the
heart of the city. The Youth Hostel has taken over one of Edinburgh
University’s halls of residence located on the Cowgate in the
centre of the Old Town. The bustling Royal Mile, the main Edinburgh
Festival venues and other city centre attractions are only a few
minutes’ walk away.
Hostel Manager, Simon Slater, is looking forward to busy couple
of months: “Edinburgh Metro hostel is a fantastic place to stay
and has a really friendly, international atmosphere. With the
festival right on our doorstep, it’s the perfect base for exploring
the city.” The hostel is open until 31 August 2009 and is
accessible 24hrs a day. The accommodation is grouped into flats of
4, 5 or 6 single rooms with a shared bathroom and a well equipped
self-catering kitchen.
