BBC Filming at Rowardennan

SETTING THE SCENE FOR BBC2'S ADVENTURE SHOW AND HOSTEL OPEN DAY

Later this month Rowardennan Lodge Youth Hostel, located on the south east shore of Loch Lomond, will provide a stunning backdrop for the BBC2’s Adventure Show. Filming of an outside cooking feature will take place on Tuesday 28th July between 3:30pm and 4:30pm.

The show’s main presenter, Dougie Vipond, will be joined by award-winning chef Grant McNicol who will produce some mouth-watering dishes for hostel guests and locals to try out. Anyone who would like to participate in the filming and food-tasting as an audience member is invited to email Hostel Manager, Jon Rowe at rowardennan@syha.co.uk or call Hostelling Scotland’s Marketing Department on 01786 891305

Rowardennan Lodge will also be hosting an Open Day on the 28th and people are welcome to stop by and say hello. Light refreshments will be provided and there will be a chance to look around the hostel and its facilities.
