Annual Malt & Music Festival
Here on Islay the Annual Malt & Music
Festival has just drawn to a close. It takes place annually
during the English half-term holidays - last week of May. Each
of the distilleries on the island (now 8) and on Jura (1) and the
Brewery on Islay has an open day with music, stalls, special tours
and tastings.
It's a very busy week on the island - cottages & rooms are
booked a year ahead in many cases. Guests who attended the events
left with the clear intention of returning! There's something for
everyone - not just the whisky lover. Beat the rush and book
