Glasgow Film Festival
The Glasgow Film Festival is a famous event celebrating films,
both old and new. It hosts a whole array of screenings of exclusive
premier films, guest appearances and truly inspiring events. It
first began in 2005, and will be celebrating its 6th year in
February 2010. This year homage is paid to Audrey Hepburn,
star of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, in the traditional
retrospectives that take place every year.
The diversity of the programme and venues mirrors the uniqueness
of Glasgow’s cultural scene. From the family friendly Cineworld,
the beautiful Art Deco surroundings of Glasgow Film Theatre and
iconic music venues throughout the city, the festival now stretches
across 17 city venues, so there really is something for
everyone.
