membership. As a member of Hostelling Scotland, you can
get discounts with a range of local and national companies by

When it comes to action and adventure,
Scotland is one of the biggest and best playgrounds in the
world. From orienteering and cycling to full on sports like
climbing, white water rafting and snowboarding, there is a huge
choice of activities available. No one is better placed to
provide access to some of the country’s most incredible and
challenging locations than SYHA. We have around 60 hostels
across the country ranging from remote cottages to Victorian and
Georgian mansions as well as modern purpose-designed
buildings. We even have our own Castle in the
Highlands. SYHA can help with organising all aspects of your
trip or you could even choose from one of our activity
holidays. If you haven’t been hostelling before or for many
years you may be pleasantly surprised by the standard of
accommodation now on offer. Most hostels have private rooms
available, many with en-suite facilities. Whether travelling
on your own, as part of a group or with friends and family, you
will always find a warm welcome and plenty of good company at our
Hostels. During the winter months you can hire properties
exclusively through our Rentahostel scheme. For less
than £10 per head you and your group can have free run of
the building and come and go as you please.
