How do I get here ?

Bus

All buses will stop at the hostel. Tell the driver "Uig Youth Hostel"

Car

The hostel is 20 minutes north of Portree on the right as you come into Uig Bay. NB: the driveway to the hostel is very steep and unsuitable for minibuses and coaches. (SatNav advice: If travelling from Fort William to the Isle of Skye, please check ferry times for Mallaig to Armadale. Most SatNav software proposes this ferry journey, which has a limited daytime service).

Ferry

Ferries from Lochmaddy and Tarbert on the Outer Hebrides.

Foot

Walk 2 km from the ferry terminal, the hostel is visible from the bay. Follow the road heading to Portree.

Train

Nearest stations are Kyle of Lochalsh or Mallaig. From there take bus connections to the hostel.
