The eerie pinnacles of the Quiraing, the famous Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock and the magical Fairy Glen are not far away. Locally, you can hire bikes and canoes or try pony trekking. Uig is also the gateway to the Outer Hebridean Islands, with ferries leaving daily.
