Well placed hostel. Very good pub in the centre of the promenade. Not as posh looking as the others but great welcome and good food at reasonable prices.

Tobermoray has a fantastic atmosphere. Although the stairs are steep it is worth the effort and the building does not allow a great deal of change. A real youth hostel.

Good hostel, great waterfront location, bit cramped on toilet facilities but otherwise fine. I would recommend it.

the hostel in Tobermory is in a really good location. We had a family room and enjoyed staying at this friendly and clean place. Nice kitchen area and common room. I can recommend staying there.

We did a 2 week tour of Scotland and this was the last place we stayed. It was great! The staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. There was a whole binder of walks and hikes in the lounge, which was a big plus. Our room was fantastic - we booked a private room expecting 2 single beds, but instead we got bunk beds with a full sized bottom bunk. We had a view of the harbor from the window. There was a drying room, which was also very nice. The bathrooms were kind of in the middle for what we'd seen on our trip - they were by no means disgusting, but they could have been better. I think that was the only downside of this hostel though. All in all, one of our favorite hostels on the trip!

Busy town venue, a contrast from the usual Scottish Hostel, therefore more outside noise, but handy for the town, ferries etc

This Hostel had the friendliest staff of all the ones we stayed in and it's location, right on the harbour front in Tobermory was outstanding. Any visit to Mull must include a stay here.

If cycling bear in mind that the roads on Mull have suffered from years of underinvestment by Argyll and Bute Council. There are some very nasty potholes so be careful.
