Glenbrittle

Photo of Hostel

Glenbrittle is a great rustic hostel at which to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. A simple youth hostel with a long tradition of providing a base for walkers and climbers to tackle the famous Cuillin, including some of Scotland’s most challenging peaks. For the ambitious mountaineer the Skye Munros and the Cuillin Ridge will provide the right playground. For a less strenuous pace there are coastal and low-level walks for all abilities and weather conditions, wildlife to watch, archaeological sites, geology to explore or clear your nose and mind in the fresh sea air at Glenbrittle beach, only 1.5 miles from the youth hostel. The world famous Talisker Distillery is about 7 miles from the youth hostel.
