Glenbrittle

Photo of Hostel

At the base of the spectacular Cuillin Ridge, our hostel is a great “get-away-from-it-all” place to spend a few days. A traditional Norwegian-style wooden building with self-catering kitchen, hot water, central heating, lounge and family rooms. Many mountain walks start at the hostel, including the infamous Inaccessible Pinnacle, a high level alpine route for which you will need the assistance of a guide to safely reach the top. Lower down, the Fairy Pools are a great wee walk for an intimate family picnic. Other walks give access to waterfalls, lochs and the many fine views out to the Islands of Rhum, Eigg, Muck, Soay, Canna and Uist. A must visit for all those who appreciate wonderful rugged scenery and wish to escape the crowds.
