Berneray is a beautiful island with a small, friendly community of crofters and fishermen. This unique youth hostel operated by the Gatliff Trust is a traditional thatched croft on the beach overlooking the sound of Harris. Beinn Shleibhe and Borve Hill offer superb and contrasting views of the many surrounding islands as well as of Berneray itself. A wide variety of birds can be seen across the island while seals and otters can be found around the coastline. No advance bookings: Senior £10 / Junior £6
