"Much loved Highland Hostel... well situated for walking and exploring" - Scotland the Best
Photo of Hostel

One of the best youth hostel locations in Scotland, with attractive lochside garden and stunning views across to the Five Sisters mountain range. Good facilities mean the youth hostel is popular with walkers and tourist alike. Otters, badgers, red deer and pine martins can be seen in the area, whilst on the mountains; ravens, ptarmigan, sea eagles, golden eagles and mountain hares flourish. A must visit for anybody is the Glen Elg brochs or Sandaig, the setting of Ring of Bright Water. Also highly popular is the world famous Eilean Donan Castle, which can be seen in the distance from the youth hostel. We also offer a perfect stop-off for those visiting Skye or who want to escape the crowds.
