Pitlochry

"a fine stone mansion on Knockard Road at the top of town" - Rough Guide
Photo of Hostel

Pitlochry is a bustling, blooming small Victorian town at the very centre of Scotland. Set amidst hills, lochs and woodland our youth hostel is in a superb location for walkers and cyclists. Local attractions include the Queens View, Soldiers Leap, the Loch Faskally fish ladder and the Festival Theatre (May-Oct: 50% discount for Youth Hostel guests). Nestled in the hills above the town is the smallest whisky distillery in Scotland (free tours & a free dram) and a fine 300-year-old Inn which brews its own ales.
