Abernethy Forest is home to Capercaillie, Brown Hare, Hen Harriers and of course, the children's favourite, the Red Squirrel.  The River Spey is only a mile away and there you may see Osprey and Otters fishing.  Hen Harrier and Brown Hare are also seen.
