Loch Ness

Photo of Hostel

Situated on the banks of the famous Loch Ness, you will have plenty of opportunities for Nessie-watching from our cosy dining room, and many bedrooms. You can also take a picture together with our own hostel Nessie down at the beach or take a walk up the hills close to the youth hostel with a great view around Loch Ness to spot its famous resident. Fall asleep to the sound of waves lapping at the shore then wake to watch the sunrise from our own wee beach (a great sun trap in the summer). The Great Glen walking track passes the door whilst the end-to-end cycling route is nearby. Drumnadrochit is 12 miles away, where you can visit historic Urquhart castle and take one of the many boat cruises. Only 40 minutes from Inverness and about two hours from the Isle of Skye, there is plenty to do in the area.
