Photo of Hostel

Set in a peaceful location our youth hostel offers wonderful views across the Pentland Firth to Orkney. Close to the youth hostel there are many craft workshops and access to an intimate beach where grey seals can be spotted. Coastal walks dominate the area; at the famous sea stacks of Duncansby Head interesting seabirds will accompany you as you stroll along. A perfect break for birdwatchers, cyclists and coastal walkers. Nearby Thurso is one of Europe’s top surfing but visitors should make time for a trip to Orkney, where you can stay at our youth hostel in Kirkwall.
