How do I get here ?

Bus

Buses run from Inverness to Cannich (20 miles from hostel). Check www.travelinescotland.com and www.rapsons.com for details. Ross' bus service from Inverness operate a bus service all the way to River Affric carpark Tel: 01463 761 250.

Car

The best route into the Hostel is to park at the River Affric carpark (forestry commission) and walk along the south side of Loch Affric. The alternative route from Cluanie Inn is quite boggy.

Foot

There is no vehicle access to the hostel which is in a very remote location, the nearest road access approx 7.5 miles away. There are no signs to the hostel, so a good map, compass, torch and appropriate clothing are essential. Weather can change in an instant and streams can become difficult to cross after prolonged rain. Please be prepared, check weather forecasts and allow 3-5 hours for the walk from the Forestry Commission car-park to the hostel (from the east - Loch Beinn a Mheadhoin).
