Our 4 star hostel is an old Scottish shooting lodge and offers warm, comfortable accommodation and stunning views of the Northern Corries. Situated in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, 7 miles from Aviemore and just 2 miles from the Cairngorm mountain funicular and snowsports area. An ideal base for all outdoor activities including hillwalking, climbing, snowsports, mountain biking, pony trekking, watersports and fishing. Most activities take place on the Rothiemurchus Estate, a fabulous area with many easy paths through Caledonian Pine forest. The Loch Morlich Watersports Centre and a large beach are opposite the hostel, all you need for a summer holiday. For something different visit the Reindeer Centre, where you can learn and feed these friendly free roaming animals.
