Braemar

Photo of Hostel

Impressive former shooting lodge in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. An ideal base for exploring Royal Deeside, the mighty Cairngorms and a great location for skiing and boarding at Glenshee. Our youth hostel offers many homely touches, such as big comfy sofas, a pool table in the lounge, picnic benches with barbecue and probably the best drying room in Scotland! Nearby Balmoral Castle is open between April-July, so don’t miss this opportunity to visit the Queen’s Scottish home. We are also in easy reach of Aberdeen, Inverey and the lush countryside and fine distilleries of Tomintoul. Good facilities and a warm welcome make our youth hostel a popular choice, with many return guests.
