06/12/18An excellent customer service on reception. The self catering facilities were brilliant : a generous seating/social area. The female dorm was spacious and had en suite facilities. The hostel is very convenient placed (for shops and Waverley Station) and easy to find. I will definitely return!!
06/12/18Friendly,caring and helpful staff. Very clean youth hostel. Great location for Central Edinburgh. Left luggage area a great asset. Would recommend for anyone staying in Edinburgh

27/11/18Ideal location close to Waverly, very clean and bright. Great value.
21/11/18Simply excellent all round, good location, helpful & efficient staff, very quiet rooms & comfortable beds. Evening meal such good value & a boon after a hard day out in Edinburgh.
19/11/18The location of the Hostel was very central and we could reach bus stand and other centres of attraction simply by walking. There are many restaurants around for eating out.

18/11/18We stayed there for a couple of days. It was perfect.
14/11/18Very nice location and excellent value for money.
13/11/18I was in Edinburgh for a weekend course. Had a very pleasant stay at the hostel. The well equiped kitchen and large dining area in the basement are great. Super showers too.
Saludos
06/11/18Great location, linen and room clean, value for money. Will stay again on our next visit to Edinburgh. The kitchen facility was one of the best in our hosteling experiences. Thanks again for a great stay!

06/11/18An ideal location just outside the centre and close to Carlton Hill and Princes Street. Good breakfasts to set me up for the day. I have stayed here a number of times over the years including 2012 when I run the Edinburgh Marathon. Mostly when I come to Scotland I stay at Edinburgh Hostel at some point.

06/11/18Staff were friendly and helpful, room and facilities clean and well maintained
05/11/18As a family of four we recently stayed at Edinburgh Central. The location was brilliant, the staff were all friendly and helpful , we ate in at the restaurant for both evening meal and breakfast. ..both were delicious and we'll cooked. The room was lovely , with the added bonus of a table and chairs. We have already recommended this place to friends and would not hesitate to come back again. Fabulous.
04/11/18Excellent as always. I've stayed a number of times over the past five years and the hostel never fails to impress. Welcoming, helpful staff, excellent food - it's beginning to feel like home from home!Thank you, Edinburgh Hostel
02/11/18Always nice to stay in familiar surroundings. This hostel covers all the necessities. I was only here one night this trip and great to see nothing has changed.
02/11/18Stayed with my son for four nights as his first hostelling experience. Location and room was great with easy reach to all activities and staff were friendly and helpful.
31/10/18Great customer service and friendly staff. When I arrived there was a bit of an issue with the room I was in and it took a bit of sorting out, but it's when problems arrive that you see how good an organisation is and I was very impressed with the staff, they dealt with it in a way that left me feeling very positive about the experience. Good breakfast and a very positive environment. I booked and paid for a towel, but there were towels in the room, which was a little confusing.
30/10/18Excellent one night stay. Comfortable room, everything I needed for the night and an excellent breakfast. Very friendly, helpful staff too. Walking distance from the centre of town - what more could you want.
29/10/18I booked a meeting room for members of the United Nations Association Scotland for our AGM with guest speaker. We had 17 members present. All the arrangements went like clockwork and the room was ideal. We appreciated that we didn't have to arrange catering because the café is on-site. The ground-floor location meant full accessibility. Well done!
10/10/18found the staff really great made the stay enjoyable, staff also gave helpful ideas for visits
09/10/18The staff were very helpful. The meals were good. The location of the hostel is perfect for groups. I would use the hostel again: good value and a central location.

09/10/18There was a warm welcome as soon as I arrived. A very comfortable bed and excellent shower plus en suite facilities. My vegetarian breakfast was brought to the table, a very unusual and considerate action. An ideal location for all the city centre attractions.
09/10/18Splendid hostel. Room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Staff were very friendly.
08/10/18An excellent service with a great price. I made some mistakes whilst reserving a room but customer service were swift and efficient in sorting me out. Stayed in a private 3 person room with two friends and it was great. It also just so happened to be in a perfect location for my group. My only gripe would be that the WiFi wasn't super great but could still be used for the basics just fine. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it.
03/10/18I stayed a night. The welcoming was good. I could leave my luggage to visit the city before checking in. The private light didn't work, otherwise it was very comfortable and well situated. I enjoyed the evening spent with other hostellers, and had a good night sleep.
03/10/18It was a great time with our three children (3, 6, 9yo). We felt welcome and really enjoyed our stay.
24/09/18Perfect location. A great place to stay.
24/09/18nice youth hostel with friendly atmosphere and walking distance for the sights of Edinburgh
