How do I get here ?

Bus

Travellers by bus will arrive into Buchanan Bus Station and should walk to Bath St to catch the 44/44A. Get off the bus at the first stop on Woodlands Rd. Follow signs for our hostel up the hill

Car

From the M8 motorway westbound, take Junction 18, marked Charing Cross and Kelvingrove, & follow signs for our hostel. If travelling eastbound, take Junction 17, marked Dumbarton, then merge left onto the A81. Turn left at the first set of traffic lights and right at the next set of lights and you'll find yourself on Woodlands Rd. Follow the signposts from here. Parking outside the hostel is free at weekends and overnight during the week (between 6pm and 8am). However, parking charges apply between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. We now sell parking permits which allow you to park outside all day long without having to move your car every 3 hours. Ask at the reception on your arrival for details.

Train

Glasgow has two main railway stations. Train travellers coming from the North and East will arrive into Queen Street Station while those arriving from the South and West will arrive at Central Station. Buchanan Street Underground can be accessed from Queen St station and trains leave every few minutes. Travel as far as Kelvinbridge Underground then exit right through the car park and swing park and climb the stairs to Gibson St. Walk up through Kelvingrove Park bearing left until you reach the statue at the top of the hill. Exit the park and turn right onto Park Terrace. The hostel is on the left hand side of the street. From Central Station take bus number 44 or 44A (destination: Knightswood, Cowdenhill Rd). Get off the bus at the the first stop on Woodlands Road. Follow signs for our hostel up the hill.
