Edinburgh University’s halls of residence on the Cowgate become SYHA Edinburgh Metro Youth Hostel again for almost two months this summer. Located only minutes from the famous Royal Mile, historic Grassmarket, the Scottish Parliament and all the Edinburgh Festival action. The buzzing local nightlife is right on the doorstep and this part of town really comes alive during the Festival with many terrific venues just around the corner. All accommodation is in single rooms only. Private apartments comprising of 4, 5 or 6 rooms with kitchen and bathroom are now available to book. NB: if we are fully booked please check our second youth hostel in town: Edinburgh Central.
