National route 77 will soon go past the hostel, whilst the new Core Paths routes for Strathearn go through our land.

Families

We pride ourselves on being family-friendly. We can supply a cot, high chair and private rooms. There are two TVs. We have our own 232 acres of safe walking, a playing field and a games room, as well as a play barn for wet weather and evening play. Most of the year our fields are full of lambs and their mums.

Walkers

Comrie Croft has its own farm, with walks from our front door. Comrie lies at the end of Glen Lednock, with loads of walks of all standards, many way-marked. We have two Munros, Ben Chonzie and Ben Vorlich on our doorstep. Some suggested walks include:

There are hundreds of red deer a few minutes away in Glen Lednock, and nearby Loch Earn is a super site for water-birds.

Staff Recommendations

“Get the City Link bus to Killin from our own stop at the bottom of the lane. Hire a Canadian Canoe for a gentle paddle, then sit by the Falls of Dochart, sipping beer and eating stovies before returning home to Comrie Croft”.
