Newton Stewart, Minnigaff

Photo of Hostel

This hostel is set in a fine hillwalking and cycling area on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Newton Stewart. Housed in an old Victorian school building, we are close to the Galloway Forest Park and the Southern Upland Way is only 8 miles away. Popular activities include pony trekking, fishing at the River Cree, or the wild goat park and nature trails of Clatteringshaws. The RSPB runs a reserve at Wood of Cree and nearby Glen Trool offers many scenic walks and world class mountain biking.
