Edinburgh Metro Youth Hostel

Edinburgh Metro Youth Hostel will open for almost two months this summer, taking over Edinburgh University's halls of residence on the Cowgate, to provide budget accommodation for visitors to Scotland's capital in July and August. Edinburgh Metro accommodation is in single rooms only, with private apartments of 4, 5 and 6 rooms available to book. Each flat has shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, with reception open 24 hours. Edinburgh Metro Youth Hostel is ideal for groups or individuals visiting the city.

Edinburgh Metro Youth Hostel is located only minutes from the famous Royal Mile, Grassmarket, the Scottish Parliament and all the Edinburgh Festival action. Whether you are visiting Edinburgh for shopping, sightseeing or to enjoy the museums and nightlife, Edinburgh Metro is an ideal base. This part of town really comes alive during Edinburgh Festival, with many terrific venues within a few minutes' walking distance.

Check-In: From 4pm. Check out: 10am. There is a 24-hour reception and access for you to enjoy the City.

All rooms are grouped in flats of 4, 5 or 6 rooms sharing a bathroom and a well-equipped self-catering kitchen.

You might share the flat, but your privacy is guaranteed as all rooms are individually lockable (£10 key deposit required). Bedding is included and a take away breakfast is available.

You can now book an entire apartment - all 4, 5 or 6 rooms for your sole use.

There are also laundry facilities (during day times only).

Please note that access to all rooms is via stairs only - a lift is not available.
