Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel is located in the heart of Scotland's capital, offering 5 star budget accommodation with 296 beds. This busy Youth Hostel offers a range of multi-share and private rooms, all en-suite. Premium rooms are also available, taking hostelling to a new level with TV and coffee making facilities. Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel is also an ideal location for those looking for group accommodation in Edinburgh.

The Youth Hostel has a spacious common area, as well as a self-catering kitchen and dining room. Our licensed cafe, Haddington Place, offers tea, coffee and cake as well as snacks and meals throughout the day. Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel is ideal for individuals, groups or families looking for quality, budget accommodation.

Just 10 minutes on foot from Waverley Railway Station and the bus station, Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel is within walking distance of Edinburgh's main attractions, including Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, the National Museum of Scotland, Dynamic Earth and the Scottish Parliament. Our accommodation is a short walk from Edinburgh Playhouse and the Omni Centre. Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel is a great place to stay when looking for accommodation during the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe Festival.

Premium twin and double rooms are available with TV/DVD and tea & coffee making facilities.

Hairdryers, iron & ironing board and cards & games are available for free to use with a deposit. Shower gel, soaps and toiletries available to purchase from reception. Towels are available for hire (available free to private booked rooms).

Please note that we do not accept stag or hen parties at any of our hostels.
