Ullapool Youth Hostel

Ullapool Youth Hostel is situated on the seafront, offering wonderful views over Loch Broom and the Beinn Dearg mountain range.

Ullapool is one of the prettiest fishing villages in the highlands and has very good amenities for visitors including restaurants, bars, a leisure centre, swimming pool and the Macphail theatre. Ullapool is fast becoming renowned for its festival and music scene and the highlight is the family music festival of Loopallu (Ullapool backwards) which attracts many well-known bands. There are also regular music nights, festivals and cultural events.

Ullapool Youth Hostel is popular with both families and groups and provides an excellent base for exploring the North West highlands. Rooms vary in size and include both private and multi share, a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, two small lounges and an excellent drying room. There is also a dining area where you can eat breakfast while watching the fishing boats, birds and seals in the harbour.

Ferries leave daily for Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis whilst cruises visit the Summer Isles.
