Ratagan Youth Hostel

Ratagan Youth Hostel has been referred to as one of the best Youth Hostel locations in Scotland due to its beautiful loch-side location with garden and stony beach directly in front of the hostel. The Youth Hostel is small and intimate in a stunning location surrounded by mountains, lochs and forests but is located just off the main road and a bus stop is only 1.5 miles away, making it easily accessible all year round.

Ratagan Youth Hostel offers excellent value group and budget accommodation in multi-share rooms but also offers small private rooms for families. It is well equipped with a self-catering kitchen, bike shed, laundry and drying room, small shop on site, luggage storage area, internet access and Wi-Fi available as well as an alcohol license and helpful staff.

Ratagan Youth Hostel has an absolutely amazing view of the Five Sisters of Kintail mountain range from the sitting room and otters, seals and porpoises can be seen from the garden. Low level scrambles and ridge walks are all within close distance of the hostel and the garden is ideal for launching kayaks for a paddle in Loch Duich, for example to the Eilean Donan Castle.
