Rustic Hostels

Our rustic hostels are situated in remote locations amid some of Scotland’s most magnificent scenery. Whether you are walking, touring or just want to get away from it all, these hostels offer the chance to escape to the best of Scotland’s wild places, offering a truly unforgettable experience.

Rustic Hostels

From low level walks, fishing and bird spotting to climbing, skiing and navigating your way through some of Scotland’s most challenging terrain, there is an abundance of activity on offer, or you may prefer to relax, chill out and enjoy some real peace and quiet!

Our two Eco Hostels, Loch Ossian and Glen Affric, are among the most remote in Europe. The hostels operate some of the most-up-to-date environmental science, including wind and solar power, grey water and dry toilet systems and even bat friendly paint!

Rustic hostels are generally off the beaten track and in some cases cannot be reached by road.  Please make sure that you check access details when booking.
