While all of our youth hostels have self-catering facilities
(excluding Corrour Station House), a number also offer a catering
service for groups or individual customers. Let us take the
hassle and stress of shopping, preparation, serving, clearing and
worse still the dreaded dishes!
Café's
Our new Café's are within our
Carbisdale, Edinburgh and Glasgow hostels, and offer a full range
of catering options, from coffee and cake to a sit-down 3-course
meal. We provide a range of international dishes to suit the
varying tastes of our international clientele. 
In some hostels, the Café is licensed, so that members of the
public as well as overnight guests can enjoy a glass of wine or
beer with their meal.
Other youth hostels have a more limited range of catering
available, which may include continental and cooked breakfasts and
packed lunches. These can be requested at the time of booking or on
arrival at the hostel.
Group catering service
We offer a variety of catering options for small and large
groups, at very reasonable prices. All our food is fresh, healthy
and cooked on the premises using locally-sourced produce whenever
possible. Menus are creative and flexible, and our chefs are on
hand to discuss your requirements.
Our self-catering kitchens are primarily for individual guests
and groups are encouraged to use our catering services. Any groups
who do self-cater will be allocated a particular time slot to use
the kitchen so that individual customers are not inconvenienced at
peak times.
Groups are requested to book any catering required at the same
time as booking accommodation.
Book Meals Online
You can now book your evening meal on-line while booking your
accommodation. Your trip away couldn't be much easier to
organise.
Evening meals are now available to book online at Cairngorm Lodge, Carbisdale
Castle, Edinburgh Central, Glasgow, Inverness,
Loch Lomond, Corrour Station House, New Lanark, Oban, ,
Rowardennan Lodge and Stirling.
Evening meals can be booked on request for Groups of 10 or more
at Aviemore, Melrose and Pitlochry.
Catering For Your Special Day
Loch Lomond, Carbisdale Castle and Rowardennan Lodge are now
offering full wedding packages, so if you
want your special day in a castle or overlooking the Loch, speak to
our Hostel Managers who will discuss all your requirements with you
from menus, drinks, and staffing to ensure that your special day is
just that.
