We have a number of great value hostels close to the heart of the Scottish cities of Edinburgh, 
Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness and Stirling. Explore Scotland’s vibrant cities, with excellent shopping, art galleries, entertainment, restaurants and bars. All hostels offer late opening and excellent facilities. 

In the summer months, we have additional hostels in Edinburgh and St Andrews, all with single or double rooms (many en suite).  These hostels are popular with families, groups and individuals wishing to explore Edinburgh at festival time or visit the picturesque golfing town of St Andrews.  
Whether you want to stay in the cities, or use them as a base to explore the wilder parts of Scotland, the city hostels provide quality accommodation in ideal locations.

Glasgow -the style capital

Glasgow is one of the liveliest and most cosmopolitan destinations in Europe. With arts, culture, sports and attractions as well as fantastic shopping, restaurants and nightlife, Scotland’s largest city is always alive.

Known as Scotland style capital it’s easy to see why Glasgow is the UK’s favorite shopping city outside London.  Designer names such as Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss and Diesel  are on many street corners along with an array of high street shops and stores along Buchannan and Argyll Street. For those wishing to explore and absorb the culture, Glasgow offers some of the best free museums and art galleries in Scotland.  The popular Kelvingrove Art Gallery and the Gallery of Modern Art are not to be missed.  

Our 4 star Hostel is the perfect place to stay. It’s situated in the historic west end of Glasgow and offers great value accommodation with en suite bedrooms.  The hostel is popular with groups, families and independent travelers.

Edinburgh – A world class city

With stunning Victorian and Georgian architecture, magnificent views and a spectacular setting, it’s easy to see why Edinburgh is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Edinburgh attracts visitors from all over the world for a wide variety of reasons:

Edinburgh boasts some fantastic shopping.  Everything from the world famous Harvey Nichols and Jenners through to high street stores and funky designer boutiques.  On the Royal Mile there are many unique independent shops selling everything from tartans and cashmere to art and jewellery.

There’s so much to see and do in Edinburgh, Visit the Castle, the Royal Yacht Britannia or Hollyrood palace, which the Queen uses for state occasions when visiting Scotland.  There are numerous museums and art galleries, along with the International Fringe Festival - an amazing three weeks of the best entertainment in the world. The Fringe runs from 5th-27th August 2007 presenting a rich programme of classical music, theatre, opera, comedy and dance.

Our Brand new hostel Edinburgh Central is located in the heart of the city. It is stylish, modern and furnished to the highest standards to suit the needs of single travelers, families and groups. Bedrooms range from single and twin through to 8 bedded dorms. Full dining and self-catering facilities are available.

Inverness – the Capital of the highlands

Visit historic sites such as Culloden Moor, Urquhart Castle or one of the many whisky distilleries in the area.  How about a local boat trip to spot bottlenose dolphins in the Moray Firth or along Loch Ness to spot the Nessie? For the more adventurous there are local providers for white water rafting, mountain biking and sea kayaking.

You will be surprised at the range of high street shops and designer labels on offer in Inverness. There are a good number of restaurants and bars to choose from offering a range of Scottish and Continental dishes. A perfect blend of city and outdoor life.

Inverness hostel has superb facilities, many en suite.  It’s also close to both the city centre and public transport links.  Having been awarded 4 stars, you will undoubtedly receive a warm welcome and enjoy a comfortable stay. 
 
Aberdeen – The Granite City

Aberdeen is a bustling City with everything from culture and attractions to a lively music and nightlife scene. Located near to the beach, the City is within easy reach of the countryside and the nearby Cairngorm Mountain Range. We are also just a short distance from beautiful Royal Deeside with historic castles and ruins set amidst amazing scenery with an abundance of wildlife year-round.

Hit the high street for some retail therapy where your find all the usual high street names and department stores along with designer and boutique shops.  For something a bit different watch out for the traditional German and Farmers markets around the city. Aberdeen boasts many good restaurants and if you enjoy seafood then you can sample some of the local fresh fish.

Our City based hostel has excellent self catering facilities, private rooms and is close to public transport links.  It’s an ideal base to explore the city and the nearby attractions.

Stirling – the gateway to the highlands

Steeped in history and situated by the beautiful Trossachs national park, Stirling is a fascinating and enchanting place to visit.  Enjoy a bus tour around the city and learn the real Braveheart story, visit the William Wallace Monument (commemorating the life of Scotland’s most famous Warrior) or take a trip to Stirling Castle.

Although a smaller Scottish City, Stirling has all the high street names and a great shopping centre. Just outside lies the Victorian spa town the Bridge of Allan. Here you’ll discover quaint tea rooms, excellent restaurants and smaller boutiques where you will be sure to find that little something special!  

Back in the city centre you will find a range of restaurants and bars accommodating all tastes and preferences. Try the Riverhouse Restaurant for a relaxed and contemporary meal or Hermann's in the old town which combines a flavour of Austria with Scotland's finest produce.

Our four star hostel is only a few minutes from Stirling Castle and offers superb en suite rooms, modern facilities and a friendly international atmosphere.  Close to transport links, the hostel is an ideal base to explore its historic town, the Trossachs or Ochil Hills.
