By Bus:

From Inverness: Citylink Express to Thurso or Wick. From Thurso / Wick, Rapsons coaches (Highland County) stop outside the hostel door – www.rapsons.co.uk .

By Train:

Nearest stations is Thurso, then get bus as above. If arriving on the late train, cyclists are advised to book a Taxi as this ensures arriving before closing time (Taxi Tel:0800 123 444). 

By Car:

Follow the A9 from Inverness to Wick, then  the A 99  to John O’ Groats. Then follow the A836 to the hostel (well sign-posted).
From Thurso, follow the A836 to hostel, watching for Youth Hostel and Canisbay signs.

On Bike:

Important information for End-to-End cyclists who have not booked bikes on the train. Interlink Express no longer transports bikes but D. Miller, Wick tel 01955604510 will handle bikes cost £30.00 also Ross Tours for both bikes (bike trailer) and people tel 01847891181 or e.mail info@ross-tours.co.uk.
