There is no vehicle access to the hostel. This hostel is in a very remote location with the nearest road access approx 7.5 miles away.  We recommend you bring map and compass and appropriate outdoor clothing. Allow a minimum of 3.5 hours for the walk into our hostel.  The nearest road access is from A831 Cannich or A87 Cluanie Inn.

The best route into the Hostel is to park at the River Affric carpark (forestry commission) and walk along the south side of Loch Affric. The alternative route from Cluanie Inn is quite boggy.

Buses run from Inverness to Cannich (20 miles from hostel). Check www.travelinescotland.com and www.rapsons.com for details. Ross' bus service from Inverness operate a bus service all the way to River Affric carpark Tel: 01463 761 250.

Notes
There are two gas hobs/nine gas rings oven and grill for cooking (Please note there is no fridge or microwave otherwise a fully equipped kitchen). Two blankets per guest so we remind you to bring a light sleeping bag.

One shower and two flushing toilets in the main building.
