Nightlife:

  • Ashton Lane, a cobbled street full of pubs, a favourite hang out place for students, minor celebrities and media luvvies
  • Uisge Beatha (Whisky Bar) - a 5-minute walk will bring you here, where all the bar staff wear kilts and atmosphere is amongst the best in the city. Regular music nights will give you a taste of the traditional music scene too.

Bus:

Take bus 44 (destination: Knightswood, Cowdenhill Rd) from Central Station to the 1st stop on Woodlands Road or the subway from any stop to Kelvinbridge. The hostel is approximately a 5 minute walk from each of these locations.

Car:

 From M8 motorway, take exit for Charing Cross & follow signs.
